Ubuntu Launches New App Developer Portal

Ubuntu has launched a new app developer website with the aim of simplifying the process of creating, porting, packaging, publishing and distributing apps on the Linux operating system distribution.

The new website gives developers the tools and resources they need to quickly commercialize their apps and get them into the Ubuntu Software Center.

It offers several areas to help with developing and publishing apps that cover development and Software Center submission, documentation and tutorial resources for developing on Ubuntu, and guidance on the publishing process.
